Following a two-year delay caused by the Covid - 19 pandemic, peak industry event, the Ports Australia Biennial Conference will open in little over a month (30 August – 1September 2022) at the W Hotel Brisbane.
This year’s event has attracted numerous high profile, Australian and International speakers ,including the Federal Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development of Australia, the Hon. Catherine King MP, together with the Chief Commissioner of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission Gina Cass-Gottlieb, Commissioner Dr. Stephen King Productivity Commission together with Dr. Patrick Verhoeven Managing Director of the International Association of Ports and Harbours.
The theme of this year’s event is ‘Risk and Resilience’, an opportunity to explore the industry’s challenges, potential and successes. Other highly regarded speakers will present on a variety of industry topics including insurance and risk, sustainability, single window development and the era of supply chain digitalisation to name a few.
