Mr John Marlay, Chairman of Flinders Ports Holdings Pty Limited (FPH), announced today that following advice earlier this year from Mr Vincent Tremaine, CEO of FPH, that he wished to stand down as CEO during 2018, after 16 years in the role, the Board has appointed Mr Stewart Lammin to succeed Vincent effective 5 March 2018. Stewart Lammin, is currently General Manager Flinders Ports and his appointment follows a search over the past few months of potential internal and external candidates.

Stewart Lammin has been an Executive of FPH since 2004 and has brought extensive maritime industry experience prior to joining FPH. He has a significant understanding of all of FPH's business operations and manages the relationship and growth in services provided to FPH customers.

The FPH Board wishes to acknowledge the significant contribution and leadership of FPH by Vincent Tremaine during his tenure as CEO. During this time FPH acquired the Adelaide Container Terminal and launched Flinders Logistics, a highly successful national logistics & stevedoring business, and both containers handled and other cargo volumes tripled. Vincent has been instrumental in developing a capable leadership team, expanding FPH business activities outside of South Australia, and developing a strong reputation for customer service delivery, innovation and safety throughout FPH operations.

Vincent has also been an outstanding business leader within the industry, including his roles as Chairman of Business SA, Chairman of Ports Australia, and a director of the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator.

Vincent and Stewart will undertake a transition process between now and 5 March 2018 to ensure a successful handover, following which Vincent will fulfil a 4 month business advisory role to FPH until his departure in August 2018.

Stewart's appointment will bring strong and capable leadership to continue the vital maritime services contribution from FPH in South Australia. We wish Vincent every success in his future business endeavours and thank him for his dedication and service.
